Donate to COTA for Rose
My friends Emily and Michael Daniel are like family to me! Emily has been a singing partner, co-writer, and close friend of mine since we met in 2018. The Daniels welcomed their first child, Rose, into the world on January 19, 2022, and I was ecstatic! Unfortunately, Baby Rose was soon diagnosed with biliary atresia -- a liver disease with no known cause or cure. Rose received a liver transplant on July 8, 2022 which saved her life! Even so, she has continued to fall ill and has lived much of her life in the hospital.
I am thankful to God for the gift that Baby Rose has been to me! Just like Emily and Michael, she is a part of my family.
The financial toll on the Daniels from all of the medical expenses and ongoing care has been overwhelming. If you would like to help support Baby Rose's lifetime of transplant-related medical expenses, click the link below!
The Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy children and young adults. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses. COTA’s services are free to our families, and gifts to COTA are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
